FOR A WILD ROSE

The Blog

For A Wildrose (started in 2016), is a lifestyle blog that documents, but is not limited to my life, style and everyday struggles as a young Nigerian girl. In addition to being a lifestyle blog, other things infused into it are food and health, skincare tips, inspirational posts and one or two fictional stories.

The name for a wildrose is a reference to the self-nurturing nature and symbolism of happiness and vitality of roses that grow in the wild, which I often find myself similar to. This blog really, is a space for me to freely express myself, thoughts and musings, without having to hold anything back. So take a seat, relax and join me on my self-nurturing journey, you might learn a thing or two.

 Behind the blog

Hey, my name is Leslie and this is my personal web space

Here’s a few things about me…

I’m currently studying Law at Nile University of Nigeria, Abuja. I have a passion for writing and expressing my thoughts on paper, which led to the establishment of this blog. I love adventure and trying new things, hence, I tend to push the boundaries of the many restrictions I find myself under. I’ve always loved writing, going back to pre-teen and teen years, I wrote a lot of fiction that never saw the completion light of day, so when I finally figured that I could freely express my wide imagination on the internet via blogging, I jumped at it. (This isn’t my first blog). Anyways, here’s a few random facts about me…

– I am a big time foodie

– I’d rather be behind the camera than in front of it

– I think seafood is the best thing since creation, except fish, I hate fish.

– I have A LOT of conversations with myself, that’s where I draw inspiration from, mostly

– I really get excited interacting with readers, so make sure you leave a comment on my posts, or just say hi via social media.
